FAPGene were invited to pass comment
from a patients point of view several months before
the launch of the EuroGenGuide Website.
Mick travelled down the the offices
of The Genetic Interest Group (GIG)where he spent a
couple of hours with Project Lead Alex McKeown and members
of his team. FAPGene along with another 140 Genetic
Groups are members of GIG who are also often contacted
to help with various projects.
There was a bonus for Mick this time
as with Ann his wife a late summer break coincided with
the launch of The EuroGenGuide Website in York on September
9th 2008. The Mansion House was the very impressive
venue and a late afternoon reception with the Lord Mayor
and The Sheriff of York.
We felt it worthwhile adding a few
photographs of the day and of an unexpected invitation
to an evening meal with the EuroGenGuide Team.
